1. Data controller

Ravil Akhtyamov, responsible for Digital Economy Lab («DEL») and its product Cauce (cauceia.com), focused on credit-routing infrastructure and AI applied to finance. Contact email: latam@digitaleconomylab.org.

2. Scope

This policy covers the cauceia.com website, including the contact and demo-request form.

The interactive prototype (/en/demo) runs entirely in your browser with simulated data: no data is sent to or stored on our servers.

When the credit-routing service goes live, the processing of financial data will be governed by a specific, expanded privacy notice.

3. Data we collect

• Contact data you provide when requesting a demo or writing to us: name, email, company (optional) and the content of your message.
• Basic technical data for the operation and security of the site (e.g. IP address, browser type), processed in aggregate.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive data or information from minors through the site.

4. Purposes

• Respond to your inquiries and manage demo or pilot-access requests.
• Send you product information only with your consent.
• Improve the site, measure its use in aggregate and ensure its security.

5. Legal basis & consent

Processing is based on your consent (given when submitting the form) and, where applicable, on the performance of a contract or legitimate interest. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to latam@digitaleconomylab.org.

6. Third parties & international transfers

Service providers (web hosting —Cloudflare—, email and analytics) may process data on our behalf and under instructions. International transfers are carried out with reasonable contractual and technical safeguards. Our operational hub is Ecuador.

7. Retention

We keep data for as long as necessary for the stated purposes and the duration of the relationship; afterwards it is deleted or anonymized, unless otherwise legally required.

8. Your rights

You may exercise access, rectification, cancellation/erasure, objection, portability and restriction rights (ARCO / habeas data) by writing to latam@digitaleconomylab.org.

You may also contact your country's authority: SIC (Colombia), ANPD (Brazil), Mexico's data-protection authority, the Superintendencia de Bancos and the data authority of Ecuador, or the AAIP (Argentina).

9. Credit service & AI-assisted decisions (future)

When Cauce operates credit routing, it will process financial and alternative data (e.g. Open Banking) only with your explicit consent and in accordance with applicable law, including rules on AI and credit scoring. AI-assisted decisions will include explainability and review mechanisms.

10. Security & updates

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption, data minimization). We will publish updates to this policy with their version and date.
