Last updated: July 21, 2026 · Preliminary version

Preliminary document, pending review by a local legal advisor. See also our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the cauceia.com website, including its interactive prototype (/en/demo), and the future contracting of Cauce's credit-routing services, a product of Digital Economy Lab («DEL»).

2. Use of the site

You agree to provide truthful information, to use the site lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, security or integrity (including reverse engineering or unauthorized automated use). The site is intended for a professional (B2B) audience and for people over 18.

3. Nature of the service and no advice

Cauce is credit-routing infrastructure for businesses. The site and interactive prototype are for illustration and use simulated data: they do not constitute a credit offer, financial or legal advice, or any guarantee of approval, rate or outcome. The actual provision of the service will be governed by a separate commercial agreement.

4. Services, pricing and contracting (future)

The commercial service is in a preparatory phase. Terms, pricing, service levels and integration will be defined in a specific B2B contract when available.

5. Intellectual property

The site content, the «Cauce» brand, design, software and documentation belong to DEL or its licensors. Their reproduction, distribution or commercial use without prior written authorization is prohibited.

6. Liability

Content is informational and demonstrative. We do not guarantee specific results (approvals, rates or volumes) and, within the limits of the law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Third-party providers (financial institutions, data sources, Open Banking) are governed by their own terms.

7. Availability

The site is provided «as is» and may be modified, suspended or interrupted in whole or in part without notice for maintenance, security or other operational reasons.

8. Privacy & cookies

Data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.

9. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the consumer-protection and data-protection rules of the user's country, with disputes resolved before the competent courts. Cauce's operational hub is Ecuador.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; we will publish the current version with its date.
